History of the Queens Hotel

The Queens hotel in Oban is a magnificent building, filled with history.

It is believed to have been originally built for the 1st Episcopalian Bishop of Argyll and the Islands as his home. Later it was a church retreat and then a temperance hotel called The Glen Campa Hotel before it evolved into the majestic hotel of today.

We believe that you will not find a better base from which to explore this beautiful part of the world.
